A relative of Khamenei is openly seeking to recruit forces to transition from the Islamic Republic to an Islamic government
Acleric linked to Iran’s ruling family through marriage called the Islamic Republic an obsolete system and told his audience that a “shadow government” already existed. He called on them to form a network of 250,000 people to replace the existing system with an “Islamic state.”
A roughly five-minute video of Mohammad Baqer Kharrazi, released on Wednesday, August 5, showed the leader of Iran’s Hezbollah organization speaking at a religious gathering.
What Kharrazi presented from his pulpit was not a sermon, but rather an organizational plan.”
Before Mr. Saeed Jalili even said, ‘I will form a shadow government,’ we had formed the shadow government and we still have it… We have a 60-volume program book that covers the smallest details of every organ and institution,” Kharrazi said.With these words, he dismissed Jalili as a hardline politician who had popularized the term “shadow government.”
Kharrazi added: “We have prepared a plan to implement the governorship system, even for how to transform the Islamic Republic into an Islamic government. We have the organization, we have the planning. But because this transition has not happened, they are taking the Islamic Republic from us.”
He told those present that the Islamic Republic “has reached a point where it no longer functions in this way at all.

He said that each fan must attract 17 people, and each of those 17 people must bring 17 more people to the network.”If we do this and organize at least 250 people in each city, that would be 250,000 people in a thousand cities,” Kharrazi said.
He offered to finance the first gathering personally, “from Hezbollah’s own funds,” promised to hold a rally of 100,000 people, and told those present that the network would “besiege all ministries.”
The crowd sent blessings in response and approval.In another part of his speech, Kharrazi set the quorum for organizers in each city at 530, a number derived not from mathematical calculations but from religious belief. He linked this number to the name of Fatima, the daughter of the Prophet Muhammad, based on the letters of the Abjad, which are important in circles close to him.But the two numbers that Kharrazi proposed do not match each other, and perhaps they are not meant to match in the first place.
He then described the final stage of the plan as follows: “With one announcement, everyone will come to Tehran, and that one announcement will finish the job. Mr. Khamenei and the government must realize that a 250,000-strong formation is ready to move.”
He assured his listeners that Massoud Pezzekian’s government “will not come to an end” and told them not to doubt it.
